This Privacy Policy explains how Playtime Tracker ("the App") collects, uses, stores, and protects your information. By using Playtime Tracker, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide

When you use Playtime Tracker, you may provide the following information:

• Team Information: Team name, sport type, and team settings
• Player Information: Player names, jersey numbers, positions, and optional player photos
• Game Data: Game times, player substitutions, period/quarter information, and playing time statistics
• App Settings: Your preferences for game rules, terminology, and display options

Information We DON'T Collect

Playtime Tracker does NOT collect:

• Personal identification information (email, phone, address)
• Location data
• Device identifiers or tracking information
• Usage analytics or crash reports (unless you explicitly send them)
• Any data from other apps on your device

How We Use Your Information

All information in Playtime Tracker is used solely for the app's core functionality:

• Team Management: Display and organize your team roster
• Game Tracking: Track playing time during games
• Statistics: Calculate and display playing time statistics
• Game History: Save and review past game records

Data Storage and Security

Local Storage Only

All data in Playtime Tracker is stored locally on your device using Apple's Core Data framework. This means:

• Your data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it
• We have no servers that store your information
• We cannot access your data
• If you delete the app, all data is permanently removed

iCloud Backup

If you have iCloud Backup enabled on your device, your Playtime Tracker data may be included in your iCloud backups. This is controlled entirely by your iOS device settings and Apple's iCloud service. We do not have access to your iCloud data.

Data Security

Your data is protected by:

• iOS built-in security features
• Device passcode/Face ID/Touch ID (if enabled on your device)
• iOS app sandboxing (apps cannot access each other's data)

Information Sharing and Disclosure

Export Features

The app may include features that allow YOU to export or share your data (such as game reports or statistics). When you use these features:

• You are in complete control of what is shared and with whom
• Data is shared directly from your device using iOS sharing features
• We are not involved in the transfer and do not receive copies

Photo Storage and Permissions

If you choose to add player photos:

• Camera Permission: Required only if you want to take photos within the app
• Photo Library Permission: Required only if you want to select existing photos
• Storage: Photos are stored within the app's local storage
• You can: Add, update, or delete photos at any time
• We don't: Access photos outside of what you explicitly select

Children's Privacy

Playtime Tracker is designed to be used by coaches and parents managing youth sports teams. The app:

• Does not collect personal information from children
• Does not require children to create accounts
• Should be operated by adults (coaches/parents) only
• Stores only minimal player information (name, jersey number) as entered by the coach

Your Rights and Controls

You have complete control over your data in Playtime Tracker:

You Can:

• View: Access all stored information at any time
• Edit: Modify any player or team information
• Delete: Remove individual players, games, or all data
• Export: Save your data in standard formats
• Remove: Delete the app to remove all data permanently

Data Deletion

To delete all your data:

1. Delete the Playtime Tracker app from your device
2. This permanently removes all locally stored data
3. If you have iCloud Backup enabled, you may also want to delete the app data from your iCloud backup

Third-Party Services

Playtime Tracker does not integrate with or send data to any third-party services, including:

• No analytics services (Google Analytics, Firebase, etc.)
• No advertising networks
• No social media integrations
• No cloud storage services (except optional iCloud backup via iOS)

Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be noted with a new "Last updated" date at the top of this policy. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

For significant changes, we may provide additional notice through the app or the App Store update notes.

International Users (GDPR Compliance)

For users in the European Union and other regions with data protection laws:

• Legal Basis: Processing is based on your consent through using the app
• Data Portability: You can export your data at any time
• Right to Erasure: Delete the app to remove all data
• Data Controller: You are the data controller of information you enter
• No Transfer: Data stays on your device, no international transfers

California Privacy Rights

For California residents under CCPA:

• We don't sell personal information
• We don't collect personal information beyond what you enter
• You can delete all data by removing the app
• No account required, no sign-up process
